The plugin pulls that information from the Asus lighting services that are installed by Armoury Crate and run in the system background at all times when installed.

RGB is more hassle then it's worth. even just using Corsair - 867136 - 3Go back to Asus armory after restatrting your pc and check under the aura section and check to see if Shut down effects have been enable due to the update. Normally I have that off so that it doesn't conflict with icue. Go back to icue and disable and re enable plugin option. Shut down your pc to see if the aura shut down option is working .Mine has done it With the Asus plugin from the beginning. If you remove the Asus.dll out the plugin folder then the issue stops. It is 100% sure the Asus.dll plugin's issue. For me only Battleye causes it. Once my Corsair ICUE closes.
