Some of the GSG 1911-22 guns will run with standard velocity. Mine sometimes will, depending on the exact load. I apologize if this has already been covered.

Master Chief, I believe the sight cuts on the GSG/Sig/Chippia, 1911 .22s are of the Novak style. My experience is that the stock sights are adequate but plastic. Novak sights are somewhat expensive (for me) and I'm a bit reluctant to invest 1/3 (1/2) the firearm cost for sights.
