However the implemented class was missing one of the class features, the class benefits (expanded element) of level 7. In the PC version, the ability to pick up an infusion/utility were removed entirely which basically pushes your build back by a few levels.Kineticist builds aren't too varied simply due to the fact that their class features rely heavily on staying single class. You can get away with taking a 1 lvl dip without losing much power so most folks go Monk, although I like to go Stigmatised Witch for the Mage Armor spell, +2 AC hex, +1AC familiar, plus fire immunity way later on (doesnt come online till lvl 19).

Personally, I would recommend Earth as the last element. It won't be the best possible kineticist build, being somewhat lacking in the damage department in comparison, but you can still make it powerful enough for anything but the highest difficulties. Spell Penetration is a trap for most kineticists, by the way.To manage your burn, if you're standing back blasting then you will pretty much always want to use 'Low Gather Power' as losing the move action doesnt really matter much. The Medium and High ones are mostly if the enemy doesn't see you and you want to open the fight with a big attack that would normally cost a lot of burn. #1.

Maybe pick up Allied Spellcaster for more spell penetration, but even that is unnecessary. Pick a solid element (Water, Earth, Air) for Act 1 of Wrath. Kingmaker can go Energy right off the bat. While you can play an element in Act 1, resistances may frustrate you. At Mythic 1, pick the Energy type you plan on using.

The Psychokineticist burn lowers will saves, wisdom checks, and wisdom related skills instead of draining hit points. The overflow is a bonus to mental attributes tho, for this build that is a negative compared the the physical stats buff. but overall I think not draining HP is a huge positive.
