Starting of Nioh 2 I decided to main dual swords but was wondering what weapon was best to have as a secondary. In the first I really liked katana and kusarigama. Dual Swords for yokai bosses. Odachi for human bosses like Ren and Saito. The katana really does go with everything.Focus on Magic. Focus on leveling up Magic as it scales the most with Switchglaive. Constitution and Skill are also good skills to level up since they also increase its damage output, and allows you to equip Light Armor. A weapon that requires somewhat similar stats but scale differently is the Dual Hachets.Balanced yes, equal no. Tonfa, Kusarigama and Hatchets (2) are a bit more difficult to pick up for a beginner.
